At Teys, we proudly partner with Australian producers to supply high-quality feeder cattle, forming the foundation of our grainfed programs. From there, cattle enter our three strategically located feedlots at Condamine (QLD), Jindalee at Springdale (NSW) and Charlton (VIC), where our experienced feedlot teams take over — bringing skill, care and daily attention to every stage of the finishing process.
Within our Teys feedlots, cattle are fed carefully balanced rations designed by nutritionists and supported by our feed mills and site infrastructure. This controlled environment allows us to deliver consistency at scale — with cattle typically fed for a minimum of 100 days to support steady growth, eating quality and the development of marbling.
Consistency is critical in grainfed beef, and it doesn’t happen by chance. Teys grainfed programs are underpinned by the National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS), ensuring rigorous standards for animal welfare, traceability and quality assurance throughout the supply chain. Our teams take this very seriously.
The result is beef known for its flavour, tenderness and marbling — the fine intramuscular fat that enhances cut tenderness, juiciness and flavour.
